‘Supernatural’ Family and ‘To Write Love on Her Arms’ Partner for World Suicide Prevention Day
To Write Love on Her Arms, a charity that a lot of us hold close to our hearts, is partnering with the Supernatural family for World Suicide Prevention Day to get fans to Always Keep Fighting. World Suicide Prevention Day is on September 10, and National Suicide Prevention Week (September 8-14).
TWLOHA has been a champion for many of the things AKF stands for; mental health, anxiety, depression, suicide prevention, and more. Jared Padalecki’s mantra of Always Keep Fighting has inspired many people to do just that, and to open the conversation and spread awareness.
800,000 people worldwide die by suicide each year. That’s one person every 40 seconds. For each death, there are an additional 25 attempts.
In honor of World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10, we’re joining To Write Love on Her Arms to fundraise for treatment and recovery. 100% of the funds raised will provide scholarships for mental health counseling and connect people to mental health services in their community.
The Supernatural Family is joining forces to say: You make today better.
Even now, you are enough.
Even now, your story is important.
Even now, you are worthy of love.
We believe you make today better. When you make a donation to this fundraising page you’ll help provide scholarships for over 3,000 counseling sessions this year. Your donation will help people to keep fighting.
Thank you for believing in hope.
