The two-time Emmy Award winner and winner of the Peabody award Mister Roger’s Neighborhood is one of the most famous, longest-lasting and fondly remembered children’s television shows of all time. First airing on February 19, 1968 and running until August 31, 2001, host Fred Rogers, who simply became known as Mister Rogers around the world, fought for children’s programming and brought to life a vivid world full of imagination and inclusivity while educating children on all topics of life.
This Thanksgiving, we can finally return to Mister Roger’s Neighborhood. Starring Tom Hanks as Fred Rogers A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood tells the heartwarming true story of the real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod. Won’t you be my neighbor?
