Just a few days ago we told you about Spellagram the series, which will premiere on YouTube on July 17. The show has six episodes, and is described as a “magical comedy web series”. It was created, written and produced by Carly Nykanen and Kelly Campbell, directed by Tina Densmore Bell, and also produced by Elly Lachman.

Carly and Kelly will also star in the series. Other actors set to appear include Supernatural‘s Ruth Connell, Jason Owsley, Luis Carazo, Coby Toland, Samantha Klein, and Dani Woodson.

There’s a fun connection here – Carly, Tina and Elly were all part of one of our favorite series, Kings of Con. Carly played Handler Beth, while Tina and Elly both produced the series. Mark Evans, who is their director of photography and Armando Macias who works on sound, also worked on Kings of Con.

Another fun fact they let us know about is that episode six was actually filmed in Rob Benedict and Richard Speight, Jr.’s office.

Here’s more about what the series is about:

Esther, a half-witch who’s always wanted to be a singer, attempts to live her dream by running a fledgling singing telegram business. In danger of going broke, Esther’s powerful full-witch mother promises her financial help, with one catch: Esther must deliver spells via her singing telegrams. Between answering to her witch of a mother, managing her magic-obsessed assistant Donna, and hiding the shady side of the business away from innocent employee Carl, Esther struggles to straddle the line between the real world she longs to inhabit and the witch world she so badly wants to leave behind, all while delivering her magical singing telegrams to unsuspecting victims.
