First Trailer Released for ‘The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance’
Netflix has released the first trailer for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, which will be available August 30.
The series will follow three Gelfling heroes from Thra, as they begin a quest to save their world from the darkening corrupting everything it touches. The story will take place over ten episodes and feature classic Jim Henson puppetry and visual effects to tell the story of how the darkness rises.
It will feature the voice talents of Helena Bonham Carter, Dave Chapman, Adam Samberg, Simon Pegg, Theo James, Nathalie Emmanuel, and many more.
The original Dark Crystal movie was released in 1982, featuring the ground-breaking animatronic work that Jim Henson was well-known for.
