A new trailer for the next film in the X-Men series has been released! Dark Phoenix will be released February 14, 2019. The film will follow the journey of Jean Grey as her powers start to increase and corrupt her turning her into the Dark Phoenix.
The film stars Jennifer Lawrence (Raven), James McAvoy (Professor Charles Xavier), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Alexandra Shipp (Ororo Munroe), Michael Fassbender (Erik Lehnsherr) and Tye Sheridan (Scott Summers).
It picks up after the X-Men Apocalypse film, where we got the first glimpse of Jean channeling the Phoenix power. It looks like the film will be emotional with the X-Men having to make choices involving Jean and the safety of people and Jeans emotions for hurting her family. It looks like they go to space, we get to see Jean as a kid, Charles hiding things (again) and a possible death?
