Not long after new and exciting details were announced about the North American wizarding school – which will be featured in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them film – Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, fans were instantly curious as to which house that author J. K. Rowling was sorted into. In the following tweet, J. K. Rowling answered the question that everyone had been wondering: She is a Thunderbird!

According to Pottermore, the Thunderbird house represents the soul of a witch or wizard and favours adventurers.
