New Photos for ‘Riverdale’ Season 5, Episode 5 “Chapter Eighty-One: The Homecoming” Released!

Riverdale will soon be jumping seven years into the future, which means that there will be new mysteries, new storylines, and new characters, along with the old gang. The CW has released photos for season 5’s fifth episode, the second episode after the time jump, and it includes a look at Pop Tate’s granddaughter, played by Erinn Westbrook!

A description for the episode was released last week and it seems like everyone will have their hands full. The full description for “Chapter Eighty-One: The Homecoming” reads:

“THE FIGHT FOR RIVERDALE HIGH — Toni (Vanessa Morgan), Alice (Mädchen Amick), Archie (KJ Apa) and Kevin (Casey Cott) fight to keep Riverdale High’s doors open after learning that its budget had been cut by Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos). Veronica (Camila Mendes) gets creative when she discovers Chad (guest star Chris Mason) is having her followed. Jughead (Cole Sprouse) starts a new job after debt collectors show up in Riverdale. Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch, Charles Melton, Drew Ray Tanner and Erinn Westbrook also star. Steve Adelson directed the episode written by Michael Grassi (#505). Original airdate 2/17/2021.”

The new photos show the gang hanging out at Pop’s, just like old times, but discussing something rather important, most likely the situation with the high school. Check out the photos below!
