Blacklisters, rejoice! Ask and you shall receive! Liz, Red, the Task Force, and more are back for another season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC’s hit show, The Blacklist has been renewed for season 9. We can’t contain our excitement and are looking forward to another season of lies, twists, and criminals!
If you’re not familiar with the show, it stars James Spader as one of the FBI’s most wanted criminals, Raymond Reddington. One day, he decides to turn himself in to the FBI and reveals that he has information that is resourceful to them. In order for them to get this pertinent information, he has some conditions, and one of those being that he will only speak to one person: Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone). Now, Liz who is a FBI profiler, works with a special Task Force led by Assistant Director Harold Cooper (Harry J. Lennix), and Reddington, to identify and take down criminals on “The Blacklist.” Also starring on The Blacklist is Hisham Tawfiq as Dembe, Diego Klattenhoff as Agent Donald Ressler, Amir Arison as Agent Aram Mojtabai, and Laura Sohn as Agent Alina Park. The show was created by Jon Bokenkamp.
Red and Liz have had many ups and downs for the last seven seasons, and the eighth season is no different as fans are seeing now. Will Red and Liz be able to reconcile?
