Deadline has exclusively reported that He’s All That, the remake to the classic ’90s teen movie, She’s All That, has added multiple new cast members. American Pie Presents: Girls’ Rules star Madison Pettis, Peyton Meyer from American Housewife, Magic Camp‘s Isabella Crovetti, Motherland: Fort Salem actor Annie Jacob, and Myra Molloy from The Bold Type will be joining leads Addison Rae and Tanner Buchanan, who are playing gender-swapped versions of characters played by Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook, respectively.
The film will follow “an influencer (Rae) who decides to avenge herself by accepting a challenge to turn the school’s biggest loser (Buchanan) into prom king after her boyfriend turns her into a laughing stock.”
According to Deadline‘s sources, Pettis has been cast in the role equivalent to Paul Walker’s character in the original, Meyer will play Rae’s jerky boyfriend, Crovetti will be Buchanan’s little sister, Jacob as Buchanan’s best friend, and Molloy will play one of Rae’s character’s best friends.
