After using the change history spell making it so Niko (Ellen Tamaki) and Mel (Melonie Diaz) never met, the sisters are still feeling down. Macy (Madeleine Mantock) suggests going to the bar, which is called The Haunt. While there with her sisters and Harry (Rupert Evans) Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) sees Lucy (Natalie Hall) and a few of the Kappa sorority girls. Maggie goes up to try to apologize again to Lucy and offer her a pitcher of mojitos as a peace offering. Lucy goes to dump the pitcher on Maggie’s head but Mel freezes time, Maggie does not want to move because she thinks she deserves it.

Back at the Kappa house trying to come down and meditate Lucy lights an old candle that released a ghost into the room.

The next day when Maggie goes over to try again to talk to Lucy there is a new pledge behind her named Brenda (McKaley Miller) that seems to be influencing her. Knowing something is off Maggie looks up previous Kappa’s and finds out that Brenda is from the sorority in the 80’s. Mel and Maggie ask the Book of Shadows and it shows them a restless spirit spell. When they complete the spell, they get transported to the campus in the 80’s and see what happened to Brenda, she was bullied and kicked out of the sorority.

While there they also see their mother (Valerie Cruz) talking to a friend about something being wrong with her baby (she was pregnant with Macy). When they are brought back to their attic, they figure Brenda is a banshee and out for revenge. Going to warn Lucy, they break into the Kappa house and find all the other girls tied up by Brenda and Lucy. Finding out almost every year a girl at the house dies the same way Brenda did, they figure out she is actually a reverent. Lucy is up on the roof drinking wine coolers with Brenda behind her telling her she should jump, when she falls Mel freezes her and Harry goes to her and brings her to the ground. Maggie realizes that she needs to give Lucy space and hopes one day they can be friends again.

In the lab at work, Macy finds out that the new sponsors want all employees to give blood samples. When she sees Galvin (Ser’Darius Blain) the mark seems to glow brighter, Harry tells her to stay close to investigate it. Harry tells her he will go with her to Galvin’s birthday party to see if he can see this mark.

At the birthday party when she sees the mark glowing, Harry looks but cannot see it either. Macy goes to a psychic to ask her what the mark means, the psychic tells her it is a protection mark. When Macy asks why she is the only one who can see it, the psychic is reluctant to answer her. She tells Macy it is because she has a darkness in her, that is why she can see the mark and tells her to stay away from Galvin. Before she leaves the psychic tells her

“The pillar of your past holds the key to your darkness”

Macy texts her sisters to meet her at The Haunt, when they get there, she tells them about what the psychic told her. Mel and Maggie look at each other and do not tell her about seeing their mother and what she was worried about.

A demon at Macy’s work is holding her blood vile when her boss comes in, the demon kills him leaving with her blood.

Looking at the photo she has of her mother holding her as an infant she figures out that the pillar is on the front porch of the house. She goes outside and removes a fixture and finds a box with a key in it.

New Information on ‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel

Entertainment Weekly has released new details on the Game of Thrones prequel, which is tentatively called The Long Night.

Author of the series George R.R. Martin has provided some clarification on the prequel, stating that it takes 5,000 years before the events of Game of Thrones.

“… it’s closer to 5,000 years. But you’re right. Westeros is a very different place. There’s no King’s Landing. There’s no Iron Throne. There are no Targaryens — Valyria has hardly begun to rise yet with its dragons and the great empire that it built. We’re dealing with a different and older world and hopefully that will be part of the fun of the series.”

According to timelines established on this Wiki page, dragons did not enter onto the scene until after the events of The Long Night.

While Westeros was recovering from The Long Night, in Essos, the peaceful sheep-herding folk of the Valyrian peninsula find dragons lairing in the Fourteen Flames, an immense chain of volcanoes extending across the neck of the peninsula. The Valyrians tame the dragons with magic, which gives them the means to gain influence over the area. The Valyrian Freehold is established.

And the rise of the House of Targaryen is even further along in the timeline, so it remains unclear if we will see them in this prequel as well. For a long time Martin had stated that at one time, he had considered not including dragons in the Game of Thrones universe at all.

did consider in the very early stages not having the dragons in there. I wanted the Targaryen’s symbol to be the dragons, but I did play with the notion that maybe it was like a psionic power, that it was pyrokinesis — that they could conjure up flames with their minds. I went back and forth. My friend and fellow fantasy writer Phyllis Eisenstein actually was the one who convinced me to put the dragons in, and I dedicated the third book to her. And I think it was the right call.

The new series has not yet officially been green lit yet, but the pilot will star Naomi Watts.

Tyler Hilton Releases Holiday Single Ahead of New Movie and Upcoming Album

Tyler Hilton’s new single “It Don’t Feel Like Christmas” released Friday, November 16.

Tyler Hilton has released a new original holiday single “Don’t Feel Like Christmas”!

The song is now available on all streaming platforms and available for purchase here.

Hilton performs the song in his upcoming Lifetime movie The Christmas Contract-airing November 22- alongside his One Tree Hill cast mates. The movie will be followed a One Tree Hill reunion show ‘Tis the Season: A One Tree Hill Cast Reunion.

I always loved the bluesy, longing Christmas songs best. Something about the holidays magnify the loneliness or something. I was visiting family in Canada last Christmas and was sitting at this beautiful old piano looking outside at all the snow and this music started spilling out. It kept playing in my head after I got home to sunny L.A . and I found myself singing, “Don’t feel like Christmas…”. The bluesy vibe ended up fitting perfect for a holiday movie called The Christmas Contract that a bunch of my One Tree Hill friends were starring in, and I ended up getting to perform the song in the film.

In addition to his new single, Hilton also has a new album coming out January 18, 2019.

This is not Hilton’s first album- he released a self-titled independent album in 2000. Hilton’s songs have been included in both the Walk the Line and One Tree Hill soundtracks-projects he also appeared on screen in.

Signed with Maverick Records, Hilton released The Tracks of Tyler Hilton in September 2004.

I wrote all those songs when I was still in high school, and I was very impressed that the songs I wrote while I was doing homework ended up being released on a major record label. That was really exciting to me. I could have written those kinds of songs again, but I wanted to do better. And I think my new album is better.

Hilton’s new album will be called City on Fire. The title track has already garnered attention on Billboard and Entertainment Tonight.

Third “Elseworlds” Trailer Reveals a Jailed Supergirl

Alex (Chyler Leigh) prepares to lock Kara (Melissa Benoist) in the meta jail at S.T.A.R. Labs. Image courtesy of The CW.

As expected, the third teaser trailer for the “Elseworlds” crossover was released today. Things are certainly looking a little different for Kara than for Barry or Oliver. While Green Arrow and Flash may have traded places, Supergirl is sitting in the meta jail at S.T.A.R. Labs. For reasons yet unknown, a long-haired Alex is in charge and doesn’t recognize Kara at all. It appears that Kara’s claims that they are sisters has Alex thinking that she’s crazy.

The “Elseworlds” version of Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) is rocking some long-hair.

What will this mean for the crossover? Will Barry and Oliver decide they need her help and then end up rescuing her? It’s hard to imagine any other way for her to escape the jail. Nothing can be known for sure until the air date though.

Make sure to be tuned in to The CW Sunday, December 9th, 2018 when the Elseworlds crossover kicks off with The Flash at 8/7c.

Happy National Princess Day!

Have some humanity. Haven’t you ever had a dream?

-Rapunzel

Happy National Princess Day! Today is a day we celebrate the royalty of the world, whether it’s real or magical. Being a princess can mean so many different things to different people, and the princesses we see most often are from Disney.

Rapunzel, Ariel, Tiana, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Anna, Elsa, and so many more, have taught us that life is not always easy, but it’s our perspective on life that can make a difference. Most of the Disney princesses can stand on their own two feet and take care of themselves. They make courageous decisions and fight for what they believe in.

Anyone can be a Princess. You just have to believe you are!

Here I am with one of my favorite princesses, Rapunzel:

‘Bad Blood’ Season 2, Episode 6 Recap: “What To Do About Valentina”

In this week’s episode of Bad Blood, Declan (Kim Coates) makes some moves to get closer in his plan to take down Teresa (Anna Hopkins) and Christian (Johnny Falcone).

On the phone with Ken (Eric Hicks), Declan tells him to bring up the Zippo lighter, because it will match and point to Teresa. With every shipment of drugs Declan gets, he tests to make sure it is in the 90% range of purity. What he does not know is that Twix (Ajuawak Kapashesit), Rose’s (Sharon Taylor) brother, has been stealing cocaine from every shipment and replacing it with talcum powder.

When the bikers meet up with Declan to get their supply from him, they are all tense because of what Declan did to the Irish in the previous episode.

At their warehouse, Alex tells his guys to test all of the product. And when they do, some samples comes back tainted because of Twix’s meddling. They call the twins to see what their offer is. Teresa wants them to kill Declan because then they would have the Montreal market. They agree.

Reggie (Ryan McDonald) has not been sleeping well. He keeps seeing the cop he accidentally killed whenever he closes his eyes. He tries to talk to Declan about it, but Declan is too distracted to listen. Later, Declan takes Reggie on a car ride and tells him that he found out his father died. Declan does not feel sad, because he found him five years ago and confronted his past.  He tells Reggie that he must do the same thing.

They pull up in front of a house, and Declan tells him this is where the guy that abused him lives and tells Reggie to go get his closure. Reggie does not want to and tells Declan that he is not like him — all he needs is someone to be there and look out for him. “I wish you had someone like I got you,” he says to Declan.

Bobby (Brandon Oakes) gets a visit from Declan asking him to give Nats’ (Dylan Taylor) protection contract to him, since the Cosoleto family is part of the reason that his son is dead. Bobby tells him he will not do that, that he will keep his word. Before he leaves, Declan tells him to talk to Rose, because it was not her fault and she is already feeling devastated. Bobby agrees to see Rose. They talk about Declan and that he is not doing this for them, so they have to. Rose goes back to the reservation and tells Declan that he now has Nats’ protection contract.

In Enzo’s (Daniel Kash) garage, Domenic (Louis Ferreira) plays the recording for him and Luca (Franco Lo Presti) that captured Valentina’s (Melanie Scrofano) confession to Nats about talking to the police. Domenic looks reluctant when he says they have to deal with the situation, because he means that they should kill Valentina. Enzo remembers his promise to his son to protect Valentina. His son says no and reminds them about his grandson’s first birthday party.

Enzo gets Bobby to give Nats a cellphone, so he can tell him to watch what he says because he has been bugged by the police. Nats get to talk to his son and wish him a happy birthday. He tells him that he loves him, and when Valentina asks to talk to him, he hangs up not wanting to speak with her.

Valentina and Enzo argue over the fact that she talked to the police. He tells her to act normal and enjoy the day. When Domenic and Luca get there, they all act like a happy family for the sake of the baby.

Unexpectedly, the twins show up to the party, and Valentina is not happy to have them in her home and near her family.

At the birthday party (in a different room), the twins tell the Cosoleto men about the deal with the bikers. Domenic is not happy about bringing in people from outside the family. Luca is not happy about working with the bikers in Montreal and leaves the room. Teresa talks to Luca in the bathroom and gives him a cell phone that is a direct line to her. She says that she trusts him and is giving him a second chance. They stare at each other for a few moments, then have a hot and heavy make-out session.

Valentina is stressed and upset with everything that has happening and has had a few too many drinks. She makes a speech to her son in front of everyone. In the garage, Enzo tells them that a cop told him that Valentina was a snitch. Domenic gets mad that his own brother did not say anything and pretended not to know this. He wants Domenic to promise not to do anything to Val and goes to be with his grandson in his room.

Valentina asks Luca what they were talking about in the garage and if they all know about her talking to the police. Luca tells her not to worry about that and helps her to bed. Before she passes out, she tells him, “Marrying into your family didn’t turn out the way I thought it would.”

Luca finishes cleaning up from the party downstairs and goes to check on Enzo and the baby. When he gets to Valentina’s room, he finds his father. Domenic is standing over Valentina with rope in his hands. He has killed her! Enzo comes in having heard a commotion and argues with Domenic when he tells them that killing her had to happen, and now they must settle on how to handle the aftermath. Enzo punches his brother and leaves. As Luca and Domenic are burying Valentina’s body, Luca tells his dad that he will never forgive him for this.

Ken shows Detective Bullock (Lisa Berry) the picture of the lighter and tells her it looks just like the one Teresa had in the surveillance photos. She tells him to get in contact with the liaison RCMP in Italy to test and verify prints. Declan goes to Detective Bullock’s house to meet her. He tells her that a gift will be given to her and not to ask questions about it. He also tells her that he wanted to see her and size her up. When she asks him what he sees in her, Declan tells her that he sees someone like himself… someone who likes winning.
