This week’s mid-season finale of Supernatural, “The Spear,” quickly reminded us that what we consider to be a Supernatural Christmas episode is on par with considering Die Hard a Christmas movie.
Spoilers aplenty below, so be warned!
The episode opens with “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” panning over an office building in Kansas City, Missouri, that is decorated for Christmas. The cheer is very quickly overshadowed by terrified screams and blood-splattered floors. Enter a Santa hat-wearing vampire we come to know as Brett, chasing down our first-five-minutes-of-Supernatural cold open death and snapping his neck under a very strategically-hanging bundle of mistletoe.
Brett enters one of the sky-high offices to announce that the last of the humans are dead and that he didn’t feed in order to “keep his appetite up for tomorrow”. As he speaks, we see a woman with her back turned to him, who Brett identifies as Michael. Brett asks Michael why he chose this building and floor to kill everyone, to which Michael replies: “I like the view.”

Melanie, one of Michael’s werewolves, arrives with the latest volunteers to Michael’s cause, one of which is our beloved and long-lost Garth! Michael immediately recognizes Garth from Dean’s memories and is suspicious about his motives for helping his cause. Garth admits that, while he still considers himself a friend of the Winchesters, he now has a family he has to protect, and he needs to be on the winning side…Michael’s side. Michael appears to accept that answer and asks Melanie if they are prepared for the following night, and Melanie responds: “Kansas City won’t know what hit it.”
At the bunker, we see Jack in the kitchen adorably caught by Castiel eating a bowl of Krunch Cookie Crunch in the middle of the night. He immediately, and very seriously, asks Castiel not to tell Sam, since his health-nut father claims that the sugary cereal will rot his teeth. Castiel tells him he understands why it must be so difficult for him to sleep since his death and subsequent resurrection, to which he says is “something of a rite of passage” for all of them.
Understatement of the century.

Jack says that he is actually just worried about his mother and her safety in Heaven, since the Empty was able to get in. Castiel assures him that, while Heaven is far from perfect, Naomi would do anything within her power to protect it. Jack then asks why Sam and Dean can’t know about the deal Castiel made with the Empty, and Castiel explains that he just doesn’t want to burden them with it. Castiel reminds him that the Empty said it wouldn’t come for him until Castiel was truly happy, and he admits that with everything on their plate, he doesn’t see himself being happy anytime soon. “This life may be a lot of things, but it’s rarely happy,” Castiel laments.
To lighten the mood just a bit, Jack asks Castiel if he is the one who took the decoder ring out of the box of cereal, and Castiel replies with the cutest and most damning “maybe”, disclosing to Jack that the ring’s secret password is “Cookietacular”.
Next we see Garth updating Sam on Michael’s plan – and we inwardly cheer that our sweet Garth is still choosing to fight with the Winchesters despite the threat of Michael. He explains that Michael wants him to officially join them, by drinking a mixture of blood and his grace. Before Sam can talk him out of the epically terrible plan to fake swallow and spit it out later, Garth is forced to hang up to go meet Michael, and we get his adorable nod to Bobby with his exclamation, “Balls!”

Sam worries about Garth’s well-being since he is the one who asked him to come out of retirement to work this particular mission, and Dean tries to be positive, reiterating that they have a spy and Michael’s location.
Ketch calls in to let the boys know he has found the egg that can trap Michael, but he was ambushed and had to put it in the mail. It’s scheduled to arrive in two days, which of course is too long for them to wait, and the call ends in disappointment for everyone.
Melanie brings Garth the power-up mixture and Michael sees that Garth does in fact drink it. Garth listens in as Michael and Melanie discuss how someone (only referred to as “she” at this point) was spotted at an abandoned recycling facility outside Omaha. We can deduce that the “she” is Kaia when Michael orders her killed and the spear destroyed.
Back in the bunker, Sam has tracked down the egg at a facility in Missouri that’s closed for the holiday. Garth calls in to update Sam on what he overheard Michael saying about Kaia, the spear, and his plan to have his monsters destroy the entirety of Kansas City. The Winchesters split up to gather the items that could potentially help them with Michael: Castiel with Dean to retrieve the spear, and Jack with Sam to retrieve the egg from the post office.
When Dean and Castiel arrive at the recycling facility, Castiel makes the comment that Dean seems “happy”, citing a broken tape deck and his lack of complaining about it as evidence of his uncharacteristic good mood. “We got Jack back,” Dean says. “When was the last time we had a big, no-strings-attached win like that?”
Cue all of our hearts breaking at Castiel’s silent acquiescence and words left unsaid.
Dean admits that he didn’t really understand what it was like for Castiel and Sam when they were possessed until he was possessed himself by Michael. As he explains to Cas, “Listen to me. Michael conned me. Kept me trapped and drowning inside my own body. So yeah, if we get a chance to trap him, I’ll take that, but I won’t be truly happy until he is dead and I kill him.”
Images courtesy of The CW.
Dean and Castiel scour the empty warehouse for any signs of Kaia, discovering that she had definitely been hiding out there. They worry that Michael’s forces already got her, considering they had a head start.
Sam and Jack retrieve the egg from the post office, but then Sam is promptly hit over the head again (I mean, honestly?!) with a baseball bat, and Jack is taken by Michael’s people. Michael appears and destroys the egg and knocks Sam out for good measure.
Images courtesy of The CW.
Back at the warehouse, Garth calls to tell Dean that Michael had just left to back up his forces. After their mutual confusion over where Michael actually is, he agrees to call if he hears anything else, and Michael suddenly pops in behind Garth to “talk.”
Dean starts to wonder if they’ve been set up when Kaia appears, and Dean asks her again for the spear, explaining that they need it to potentially kill Michael. He tells her to kill him if she won’t give the spear up, since Michael will kill everyone he cares about if she doesn’t.
There are people that I care about – my family – and they’re in danger. Michael, the one who tortured me, the one who tortured you, he’s gonna hurt them and kill them. And then, worse. Thousands will die. And the only thing in this world that will stop him is the spear in your hands. So if you’re not gonna give it to me, kill me.
Images courtesy of The CW.
Kaia says that she wants to go back to the Bad Place in return for letting them use the spear. She felt safer there because, even though she was on the run, she knew what she was up against. She thinks Jack can help her return, unaware that he is now without his powers, and Dean agrees that he can help her if she helps them.
She admits that she has people she wants to protect too, and she reluctantly gives them the spear and disappears again as Dean gets a call from Sam to tell him about Michael’s attack, the egg’s fate, and Jack’s kidnapping. Dean and Castiel agree to meet Sam at the hotel where Michael is, and Castiel desperately instructs Sam to not go in alone.
Jack is brought before Michael, who talks to him about destroying Kansas City in his world and how messy it became, which is why he is trying his monster attack this time – to destroy the city from the inside. He claims that he and Jack are family, and that Jack doesn’t understand his power or the meaning of time yet, but he will if he sticks with him.
But you…you’re just a child, a mere infant. For you, the past two years – the entirety of your existence – feel like eons. You don’t even know what time is. But you will. Real time, the time that makes mountains, that wipes out species. You’ll see it all…with me.
Jack refuses, and Michael insists that his loyalty to the Winchesters and Castiel will fade over time. Jack isn’t convinced, making sure instead to let Michael know that his family will come for him.
Images courtesy of The CW.
Sam, despite Castiel’s warning, enters the building alone and kills Brett first, then Melanie. He finds Jack and Garth, and the three of them leave the building. Once free, though, Garth starts uncontrollably “wolfing out,” claiming that Michael is in his head. Sam is forced to choke him until he is unconscious, and Dean and Castiel arrive shortly to the scene thereafter. They bind Garth and put him in the trunk until they can figure out how to help him. Castiel heals Jack’s injuries, and Dean makes a solid attempt to wield the spear in Kaia fashion.
Spoiler alert: He can’t, but he looks perfectly dorky and adorable trying to do so.
They put together a sort of plan of attack, even knowing that Michael will sense Castiel’s presence before they’re seen.
[“Ode to Joy” plays. I’m giddy in my seat]
Images courtesy of The CW.
Michael does sense Castiel and delivers a decent beating before Sam and Jack are able to distract him. Dean is able to sneak in behind him with the spear, and a fight ensues, but when he gets the opportunity to stab him, he pauses. His vision blurs, showing him flashes of Michael!Dean and Dean in an empty bar, and Michael smiles before his current vessel slumps to the ground. Dean promptly breaks the spear in two and turns, the transition back to Michael!Dean clear in his features.
Michael!Dean claimed he left the door open a crack in Dean’s mind so that he could get back in whenever he wanted. He gave Dean the false hope that he was safe so that when he jumped back in, Dean would be buried and less likely to fight him – that he would “stop squirming”.
Michael!Dean: Dean was…resisting me. He was too attached to you, to all of you. He wouldn’t stop squirming, to get out, to get back. So I left…but not without leaving the door open…just a crack.
Castiel: Why wait?
Michael!Dean: To break him, to crush and disappoint him so completely that, this time, he’ll be nice and quiet for a change. Buried. And he is. He’s gone.
Michael!Dean claims that now he has a whole army ready for his command “…ready for this,” and he snaps his fingers to end the episode.

What can we expect Michael!Dean to have done with his snap? Sic his monsters on Kansas City? Wipe out half the population on Earth? Wardrobe change? Tune in when Supernatural returns on Thursday, Jan 17 at 8/7c on The CW.

We got the chance to sit down again with one of our absolute favorites, Matt Cohen, at Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural convention in Jacksonville last weekend.
We asked Matt about the conventions – Karaoke, Saturday Night Special, and how his way of communicating with fans have changed over the years of doing conventions.
We also made sure to ask about Mama Bear – the short film he’s directing. When we last spoke to Matt in October, he was getting ready to start filming in November. Now he’s wrapped filming, and he talked to us about how much gratitude he has to everyone that helped him out.
There’s still time to get involved with Mama Bear – there’s currently an auction where you can bid on actual costumes worn by actors such as Matt, Mandy Musgrave, Adam Fergus, Kim Rhodes, Briana Buckmaster, Jim Beaver, Richard Speight, Jr. and more. You can check that out here on eBay!
Thank you again to Matt for the interview! Watch it below!
Yesterday, SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment announced that they broke ground for their new headquarters, which will be at SeaWorld Orlando. Expected to be 40,725 square feet and three stories, the new facility will house ambassadors from the current SeaWorld Orlando park and Park Support Center.
The groundbreaking celebration was attended by Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings and George Aquel of Visit Orlando as well as many other local community leaders. Among the audience members was the Millennia Gardens Elementary School Eco Club, a group of local students who grow lettuce that they donate to feed rescued manatees.
“Today is much more than the groundbreaking of a new building,” said SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment Interim CEO John Reilly. “It is about the foundation we are continuing to fortify and build upon as a company to extend and carry out our mission – to save species, learn about them, protect them educate others about them, and help them flourish, both in our care and in the wild.”

Also on hand for the celebration were rescued animals Mattie and Dunder, a rescued bald eagle and Asian small-clawed river otter respectively.

Assisting in the groundbreaking were Discovery Cove’s best diggers, the resident three banded armadillos.
The new building is expected to open in Fall 2019.

The Supernatural convention was in Jacksonville this past weekend, and we were lucky enough to attend! We’ll be bringing you a series of coverage, from daily breakdowns and our experiences, vendors, interviews and more – so stay tuned!
To kick off the series, we’re going to talk about Friday – the very first day of the convention. Creation Entertainment, which puts on the conventions, does an amazing job with the programming on Friday to keep those who are able to attend excited and busy.
Earlier this year, I wrote an article about my experience in Orlando – and how I believed that Creation was destroying the competition (in a good way!) by doing things no other convention was doing. For this series on Jacksonville, I’ll be diving into each day’s activities and the thoughts about them. One thing I can say for sure – every expectation I had for this con was exceeded.
Friday started out with panels, and a welcome from Rob Benedict and Richard Speight, Jr., on what was to come and what to expect. The two have an amazing chemistry and friendship that we’ve talked about many times, so it’s no surprise that they’re exactly what this con needed to get the audience fired up and ready to go.
There’s so many things to do at the cons; panels, photo-ops, autographs, meet and greets, and much more. It’s one of the most immersive convention experiences that I’ve ever been to, and it makes Creation’s events stand out from the rest.
For the first panel of the day, Rachel Miner took the stage. She was so lovely and a lot of fans spoke very highly about her, including her work with Random Acts. She was sweet and engaging and it was amazing to watch.
After Rachel, Emily Swallow took the stage. She was also very sweet and kind, answering some great questions.
When she was done, there was a little bit of a break in the panels. The main ballroom hosted trivia, with a chance to win gift certificates, as well as having autographs and photo-ops going at the same time.
After the intermission, Jason Manns took the stage. His panel is unique because he does a Q&A, but also plays music at the same time, something he joked around about on stage. Rob, Billy Moran and Hayden Lee also joined in, singing some songs with Jason as well. He was charming and sweet, and you can tell everyone just really loved his music and how he was able to play almost any song that people requested. It was a great way to see one of my favorite musicians interact in a way that is only being done at these conventions.
After Jason, there was a break to sign-up for karaoke, one of the things I was most looking forward to that night, since I had never been before. You can put your name down and pick a song, which gives you a chance to be called up to stage and perform with some of the guests of karaoke. The event was created and spearheaded by Richard Speight, Jr. and Matt Cohen, who put so much love into making sure everyone has a great time.
Next up was a panel with some of the newest Supernatural actors, David Haydn-Jones and Adam Fergus. These two have a fun and comedic dynamic that really made their panel stand out. Their humor made everyone in the audience laugh, and they were just so charming and interactive. It really made me like the actors, who play not-so-nice characters on the show. It was really one of the best panels on Friday.
The last panel of the day was the kick-ass duo of Kim Rhodes and Briana Buckmaster. Their panel is so refreshing, because they’re not afraid to just be themselves and inspire you to be your best self. It was great to hear them talk in person and share their experiences, and you can tell how much the audience loved them. They were raw and real, and I look up to them in so many ways.
Between the panels, I had a chance to check out some of the vendors. There was a decently-sized area where the ballroom doors were where there were many different vendors, selling all sorts of fandom-related things. Some of my favorite vendors were there, so I was really excited to see their booths.
Con*Quest Journals
One vendors that I visited included Con*Quest Journals, which sells fandom-related con journals, planners, stickers, and more. The two people who run it, Shelley and Ted, are incredibly sweet and knowledgeable and you can tell how much they care about their products, and the fans who attend these cons.
We also saw Scout Villegas, who is one of my favorite artists. She’s extremely talented and has some great merchandise featuring the Wayward ladies, Rob, Rich, and Louden Swain. Next to Scout’s table was Supernatural Specialties, run by Zerbe, who makes incredible jewelry that every fan should have.
There was also Illy from Super Inspired, who is newer to the convention circuit and has some beautiful artwork, buttons and more. There’s Eldewenne’s Fantasy, who makes incredible one-of-a-kind jewelry (and also just started to have a workshop at the cons!). I also saw Lynn from Fangasm who was selling her book, and many other fandom-related vendors.
There was also a table for Louden Swain, where all of their merchandise is sold including their albums, shirts, kazoos and more. Jason Manns had a table, where he sells his music, and shirts. Finally, there was also a table for Random Acts, who were accepting donations.
There was so many things to do and see, that it took me over the course of the three days of the convention to truly browse through everything.
Kim Rhodes and Briana Buckmaster – Courtesy of Nancy Davis
We had autographs with Kim Rhodes, Briana Buckmaster and Emily Swallow that night, and I cannot rave enough about all three of them. They were kind, engaging, and were so amazing to meet.
The last event of the night was karaoke. There was a line that had started for people to get in, since this was all general admission and a big pit was to be formed in front of the stage. Once entering the room, I was a few people behind in the pit, but with a really great view; there wasn’t really a bad view of anyone all night. Rich came on stage, with Briana Buckmaster, Kim Rhodes, David Haydn-Jones, Adam Fergus and Emily Swallow, and explained about how everything would work, including that Matt Cohen was running a little bit behind because of a flight and would hopefully make it before karaoke was over. Rich was all dressed up, since this was officially his last karaoke as a host. The energy was one I’ll never forget; from the actors running down through the front of the audience, singing every word with the crowd, the audience cheering on their neighbors as their names were chosen, and more. Even if you didn’t know the song, you sang along and had fun anyway. About halfway through karaoke, Rich made an announcement that Matt had arrived, and he hopped on the stage like a rockstar; suit and tie and sunglasses included. The energy level definitely amped up even more at that point, as Matt made his way around the stage and over to the audience to belt out tunes.
Matt Cohen and Richard Speight, Jr. – Courtesy of Nancy Davis
Right as karaoke was getting ready to wind down, Rich got serious and talked about how much he’d miss karaoke, how him and Matt built it together, and how important (even though Matt would never acknowledge it himself) Matt was to the cons and to karaoke. Matt also turned to the microphone to talk about karaoke and how much Rich has meant to him and taught him. It really was a sweet, heartfelt moment between the two.
Karaoke ended on a high note, with everyone on stage and in the audience singing “Carry On My Wayward Son” by Kansas, and we couldn’t have asked for it to end a better way.
CBS released the trailer for the much anticipated Season 2 of Star Trek Discovery. In August, the network announced the reprisal of Patrick Stewarts‘ beloved role as Jean-Luc Picard in a new currently untitled Star Trek series. It would seem, however, that was not the only surprise in store for fans.
Wilson Cruz as Dr. Hugh Culber – source IMDB
In the press release CBS teases the return of Dr. Hugh Culber, a fan favorite played by Wilson Cruz. Viewers will remember that Dr. Culber died in “Despite Yourself” (episode ten of last season). Cruz discussed the concern of the trope of yet another death of an LBGTQIA character and attempted to assuage the fan base with the hint that a return was likely for Dr. Culber in a TV Guide interview in January.
“The fact of the matter is you’re going to be seeing [Culber] again,” he revealed. “This is gonna be a story of transcendent love. We’re casting these two gay characters as heroes. Their love and their dedication to their crew actually is gonna save the universe.”
Said Cruz, “I want the audience to trust us, that we are going to bring the story that they’ve all longed for.”
Ethan Peck as Mr. Spock – source CBS
Ethan Peck will be joining the cast as well this season as a much younger Mr Spock. With the signature eyebrows and ears, it’s not a stretch to make the connection to Leonard Nimoy’s iconic character. Spock will join the crew as the half-brother of disgraced officer Michael Burnham, played beautifully by Sonequa Martin-Green.
Spock warns of an apocalyptic vision and that someone is working to end all sentient life in the galaxy. The new trailer appears to focus on this new villain called the “Red Angel” and the battle that will ensue. Now all we have to do is wait for the premier.
The formidable Lex Luthor on Smallville, the witty host of the podcast Inside of You, the talented lead singer of rock group Left on Laurel — regardless of where you know him from, all parties can agree that Michael Rosenbaum is an amazing talent.
Michael’s career has spanned decades, with many projects on his impressive resume. As mentioned above, Michael is currently host to the podcast Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, where he interviews various people within the entertainment industry in a way that is intimate and raw. Michael’s often an open book in the podcast, talking about anxiety, depression, therapy, and the experiences he’s had throughout his life. It’s one of the things we love most about it; he’s a humble, hardworking guy who isn’t afraid to speak the truth.
His band, Left on Laurel (with bandmates Tom Lally, Carl McDowell, Kent Irwin, and Rob Danson), just finished up an appearance at Rockwood Music Festival in Germany and they’re also working on finishing up their newest record.
Rosenbaum also recently partnered with Smallville co-star Tom Welling to release wine through Stephen Amell’s company, Nocking Point. The wine, which features labels with art of Rosenbaum and Welling, are called “Pure Evil”. You can subscribe to their wine club and receive the wine at Nocking Point’s website – NockingPoint.com(ages 21+).
We got the chance to ask Michael a few questions – about his podcast, his music, and more! Read our interview with Michael below!
Nerds and Beyond: You currently have a podcast, Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum. What’s your favorite part about doing a podcast, and your least favorite part?
Michael Rosenbaum: My favorite part is that each guest helps me learn more about myself and I hope they might learn a little more about themselves, too. More importantly, I think my listeners love the show because it’s no bullshit. It’s not two actors just talking about mundane, Hollywood bullshit. It’s real. It’s honest. It’s raw. We talk about anxiety, depression and real life. I hope when the interview is over that people listening are not only entertained but also informed. Hopefully it helps them out a little bit in their lives in some way. I don’t have a least favorite part. It’s the first job I can say that. I love this podcast. It feels like I was meant to do this.
Nerds and Beyond: Who’s your favorite guest you’ve had on your show so far?
Rosenbaum: So many great, great guests. Truly! I Just had Elvira. You know… Mistress of the Dark? Her real name is Cassandra Peterson. I watched her all the time growing up. I just interviewed her and nearly cried. Her mom had passed away just a week ago and she was so open, honest and so sweet. I’ve never met a more down-to-earth person in my life. It’s a must listen whether you know her or not. I’ve had so many terrific guests. I’m truly blessed. Jennifer Love Hewitt, Zachary Levi, James Gunn, Stephen Amell, Dax Shepard, Henry Winkler, Kristen Bell, Michael Gervais, Rob Benedict, Tom Welling, Justin Hartley, Dave Bautista. I love when guests open up. When they truly just let go and talk to me without thinking too much.. when we just get lost in conversation. When I see them having genuine fun, it’s simply the best feeling in the world.
Nerds and Beyond: Who is a guest you’d love to have on your podcast?
Rosenbaum: Gary Oldman is my favorite actor of all time. I’ve seen everything he’s ever done. I loved the movie Nil by Mouth he directed. I have met him a few times and even bought him pizza once. We have the same guy cutting our hair (laughs). Did I just say that? I’m really trying to get him on. I would truly shit myself if that happens.
Steve Perry I’ve also been trying to get for a while. You know, the lead singer of Journey? I even started a campaign on Twitter and got thousands of people telling him to come on.. but nothing. I hope one day he will do it. I think he had the best voice in rock and I listen to him all the time. My hope is that one day my podcast really blows up to the point that studios start demanding that all their actors have to come do my show. That would be dreamy. Right now I’m just interviewing people I’ve known or have met at cons or are friends of friends. It’s worked out great because the guests have been first class. I mean really top notch. But, I still have a lot of guests I’d love to have on.
Nerds and Beyond: You’re really open on your podcast about therapy and different aspects of your life. What made you want to be so open about those things?
Rosenbaum: I think for so many years I would hide from things that embarrassed me or scared me. Mostly childhood things I never let out. I was tired of running from all of my demons, insecurities and anxieties. Being vulnerable and opening up on my podcast really has helped me find out who I am and what I want out of life. It also makes me a better interviewer. When I open up…the guests open up.
Nerds and Beyond: You’re in a band, Left on Laurel, and working on a new album. Is there anything you can tell us about it?
Rosenbaum: It’s a dream come true. I never thought I would ever have a band, or be the lead singer and then be recording an album. It’s bananas. But I love it and I light up like a little kid every time we are in the recording studio. I’m not sure exactly what the hell I’m doing… but I love it. And not to toot my own horn, but I think we are a shit ton better in the studio than I thought we’d be. We are on a limited budget and time schedule and somehow we have managed to record eight songs in just 4 days. And good songs. I mean, I think they are good.
Nerds and Beyond: Jason Manns is producing your album. What’s your favorite thing about having him as a producer?
Rosenbaum: He’s so laid back. So kind, and so smart. I truly just feel more confident around him. I think we all feel like that. He’s such a sweetheart. We could not be in better hands. Sometimes I think he believes more in us than we believe in ourselves. I would not have done this with anyone else. Period. I love you, Jason Manns. I truly do. Thank you for making my dreams come true.
Nerds and Beyond: You’ve gone to Rockwood Music Festival in Germany to play music with Louden Swain, Jason Manns, Briana Buckmaster, and more. What’s your favorite part about attending Rockwood?
Rosenbaum: It feels like camp. It actually is camp. The only difference is that you are surrounded with so much talent that for me it was overwhelming, fulfilling, nerve-wracking and just incredibly fun. I fell in love with almost everyone there. I’m not even kidding. I just hung out with Rob Humphreys the other day and have been talking to a lot of the gang since our return from Germany. Being there makes me want to be a better musician. These people have been playing their whole lives. I’ve been doing it for a year or so. I feel so far behind but in a strange way I feel like I still belong.
Nerds and Beyond: Are there any plans for you to tour anywhere else?
Rosenbaum: I’m always open to anything. Honestly. If we are given the opportunity to tour and people actually want to see us and hear us play… why not? As long as the rest of the guys can take off from work and Kent can bring his “glow in the dark” drumsticks… let’s roll.
We at Nerds and Beyond also love to ask people we interview the famous Pivot questionnaire, which is often seen on Inside The Actors Studio ,and we got to ask Michael those questions, too! Read his answers below.
Nerds and Beyond: What is your favorite word?
Rosenbaum: Propensity.
Nerds and Beyond: What is your least favorite word?
Rosenbaum: Literally.
Nerds and Beyond: What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Rosenbaum: Writing and playing music. No doubt about it.
Nerds and Beyond: What turns you off?
Rosenbaum: Folks who can’t control their liquor.
