Video: Oscar Isaac on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’

Last night, actor Oscar Isaac — who will be reprising his role as hotshot Resistance pilot Poe Dameron in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker — stopped in for a chat on Late Night with Seth Meyers! He was originally scheduled to appear on the show a couple of months ago but was unable to attend. This marks Isaac’s third appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, having previously been on the show in 2015 and earlier this year.

In the interview, they discuss how Isaac is doing after the recent birth of he and his wife’s second son, shooting The Rise of Skywalker and how the cast ended up having dinner with the King of Jordan, and his Thanksgiving plans.

Isaac’s latest role was in the animated film The Addams Family that premiered in October, for which he voiced Gomez Addams. Catch his next movie, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, in theaters on December 20 (it will be arriving a bit earlier in some countries on December 18-19.)

Late Night with Seth Meyers airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m. EST on NBC.

Kim Rhodes (Sheriff Jody Mills) and Briana Buckmaster (Sheriff Donna Hanscum) have officially been added to the Creation Entertainment Salute to Supernatural Conventions for the year 2020!

So far the following cities will have Kim and Briana:

East Brunswick, NJ; Indianapolis, IN; Las Vegas, NV; Nashville, TN; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Charlotte, NC; New Orleans, LO; Orlando, FL; Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA; and Toronto and Vancouver.

Sarah Michelle Gellar To Star In New Fox Thriller!

Sarah Michelle Gellar has signed on to star in a second Fox television show next year!

This time, she is teaming up with producer Ellen DeGeneres in a television adaptation of the book Sometimes I Lie by BBC journalist Alice Feeney. In this limited series, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum is set to star as coma patient Amber Reynolds, who doesn’t know how she got where she is, but knows someone is to blame.

Gellar has already signed on to star in another show at Fox. It is based on another novel called Other People’s Houses, which will be a dramedy based on the novel by Abbi Waxman.

If either of these shows gets picked up to series, it will be Gellar’s first scripted series since she starred opposite the late Robin Williams in the CBS comedy The Crazy Ones.

It looks like 2020 could be a busy year for the star!

Adam Driver is on the December Cover of Rolling Stone

December is nearly here, which will also bring the release of the last movie of the latest Star Wars trilogy. Rolling Stone is celebrating with a December cover devoted to the sci-fi saga. The cover features none other than Kylo Ren himself, Adam Driver! The issue will include articles about J.J. Abrams, Adam Driver, and Billy Dee Williams.

The final Star Wars film installment will star Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Billy Dee Williams, Kelly Marie Tran, and the late Carrie Fisher. Ian McDiarmid will reprise his role as The Emperor, who was last seen in The Return of The Jedi film.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be in theaters on December 20.

Audi Releases ‘Spies in Disguise’ Video Ahead of Film Premiere

Audi and Twentieth Century Fox, in cooperation with Blue Sky Studios, have just released an exclusive short video before the world premiere release of the animated film Spies in Disguise, which will be in theaters everywhere December 25. Audi will also be sponsoring the world premiere on December 4.

Spies in Disguise has the coolest spy in the business, Lance Sterling (voiced by Will Smith), driving the hottest futuristic car in the film, the Audi RSQ e-tron. The Audi RSQ e-tron is the first concept car created by Audi exclusively for use in an animated film.

In the video, smooth and suave Lance Sterling and the tech genius Walter Becket (voiced by Tom Holland) find themselves in the middle of a high-speed car chase through the streets and into the underground of Washington DC. The unlikely pair are at an serious advantage in the Audi RSQ e-tron with the car’s boost capability available on demand, as well as the automatic driving mode. The RSQ e-tron is an electric car featuring autopilot, visionary design language, and a holographic speedometer.

‘The Boys’: Extended Scene From Season 1, Episode 5

As if we didn’t get enough of Homelander and his crazed antics and outright abuse of authority in the first season of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys, there is an extended cut of a scene from episode 5, “Good for the Soul.” In this episode, the Boys were on the prowl at the “Believe” Expo, along with a handful of the Supes.

Check out the extended scene below, which features a cringeworthy speech from Homelander himself.

The second season of The Boys recently wrapped filming and is due to premiere in summer 2020 — diabolical!

Join FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention and Seigfried and Jensen for a private screening of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at the Megaplex Theatre at Jordan Commons in Sandy, Utah on Thursday, December 19.

Tickets for the event will be given away for free by random lottery by entering your email on December 1. Each winner will receive two tickets for the screening. Ticket lottery for the screening opens December 1 and closes on December 14.

‘Angel of Vine’ Season 2 Coming to iHeartPodcast in 2020!

Following their independent release in 2018, Angel of Vine’s second season will launch on iHeartPodcast in spring 2020!

Though focusing on a different case, this season serves as a continuation of the first, picking up in 1959 Palm Springs, California. It will reveal more of the underbelly of Los Angeles than we got to see – or rather, hear – in the fist season leading to a more “sprawling” story.

New home, new season, it only makes sense to bring on new voices. The new season will see Patton Oswald and Kevin Pollak joining Alfred Molina, Constance Zimmer, and producer Joe Manganiello on the cast for the second installment of the series.

Angel of Vine is a noir podcast following a present-day detective as he discovers audiotapes of a 1950’s private eye who solved one of the greatest unsolved murders Hollywood has ever seen and never revealed his findings. 

Season one is available to stream now on Sticher, Apple Podcasts, PodBean, and Spotify, and season two will be available in spring 2020 on iHeartPodcast.

Daisy Ridley Appears on ‘LIVE with Kelly and Ryan’

The cast of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has been out and about promoting the impending final chapter of the Skywalker saga, and today Daisy Ridley (who portrays Rey) appeared on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan!

In the clip below, Ridley discusses how she took up kickboxing while training for Star Wars and then went on to earn her green belt.

In the next clip, host Ryan Seacrest inquires as to whether or not Ridley can share anything about the incredibly secretive plot of The Rise of Skywalker (Dark Rey, anyone?!).

Ridley’s co-star John Boyega, who will be reprising his role as the ex-stormtrooper Finn in The Rise of Skywalker, is set to appear on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan tomorrow, November 27.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker officially premieres on December 20, and will be coming to select countries December 18-19.

Amazing news for fans of Jensen Ackles and Steve Carlson’s band Radio Company! Their debut album, Vol. 1, has topped Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart for the second week in a row!

The album made a debut at the top spot for the week of November 23, and is still crowned at #1 this week. The album was released on November 8.
