Back in May, we let you know that Jensen Ackles would be directing an episode of the upcoming fifteenth season of Supernatural, which is set to start filming on July 18. Now, we have a little bit more detail about what episode it is, thanks to Executive Producer Jim Michaels.
Ackles will be directing episode four, which is actually the first episode they’re filming when they return. Sometimes due to various issues episodes are filmed out of order, which seems to be the case in this instance.
This will be Ackles’ sixth episode he’s directed on Supernatural. The last episode he directed was of season 11’s, “The Bad Seed.” He has also directed “The Girl Next Door,” “Heartache,” “Weekend at Bobby’s,” and “Soul Survivor.”
