New ‘The Walking Dead’ Spin-off in the Works
Can’t get enough zombies? Well, The Walking Dead has you covered. There is a third spin-off television show in the works to be released in the fall of 2020 on AMC. The still-unnnamed spin-off’s first season will be ten episodes long.
The series is going to focus on two female characters and what it is like to grow up in a zombie apocalypse. Alexa Mansour (Unfriended: The Dark Web), Nicolas Cantu (The Amazing World of Gumball), and Hal Cumpston (Bilched) are cast so far. The series will also have Matthew Negrete (The Walking Dead) as a writer/producer, and Scott M. Gimple (The Walking Dead) as the showrunner.

According to Entertainment Weekly. the show is described as:
“Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.”
AMC is also reportedly making an unknown number of The Walking Dead movies featuring Rick Grimes, Andrew Lincoln’s character that left the series in season nine.
