A new promotional video has been released for WIND BREAKER, previewing footage from the upcoming anime following the official series announcement earlier this year!
WIND BREAKER is an adaptation of Satoru Nii’s ongoing Japanese action-adventure manga series. As per Kodansha, the series is summarized as follows:
“Haruka Sakura wants nothing to do with weaklings — he’s only interested in the strongest of the strong. He’s from Fuurin High School, a school of near-dropout degenerates known only for their brawling strength. And in a town known for its territorial disputes, Haruka’s got only one goal — become the hero his town deserves.”
The cast includes:
- Yuma Uchida as Haruka Sakura
- Koki Uchiyama as Kyotaro Sugishita
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hayato Suo
- Yuichi Nakamura as Hajime Umeyama
- Ryota Suzuki as Toma Hiragi
- Shoya Chiba as Akihiko Nirei
The series is produced by CloverWorks (SPY x FAMILY) and directed by Toshifumi Akai, with series composition from Koji Seko, character design by Taishi Kawakami, and music from Ryo Takahashi.
WIND BREAKER will premiere in Japan in April 2024.
