Ric Flair has officially debuted in AEW.
While talking to the crowd in Philadelphia, Tony Schiavone revealed Tony Khan’s gift to Sting — The Nature Boy, Ric Flair. Flair is one of Sting’s greatest rivals throughout his tenured career, and he let Sting know he wants to be here for the ride with him until he retires at the Revolution pay-per-view next year.
Christian Cage came out to interrupt the reunion, ruthlessly roasting Flair for several minutes telling the crowd he’s just “gold chains and a black liver” and that he’s one kick away from his pacemaker giving out. Cage then states he wants to retire Sting early and challenges both Sting and Darby to a match at Full Gear if they can find a third partner.
