‘The Last Voyage of the Demeter’ Arrives on Digital, Blu-Ray™ & DVD This Month

Universal Pictures has set an October digital and physical release for The Last Voyage of the Demeter.
Directed by André Øvredal, the horror film is based in entirety on Chapter 7 — “The Captain’s Log” — of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, which tells the story of a merchant ship, the Demeter. The cast stars Corey Hawkins (In the Heights), Aisling Franciosi (Game of Thrones), Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones), David Dastmalchian (The Suicide Squad), Chris Walley (1917), Jon Jon Briones (Ratched), Stefan Kapicic (Better Call Saul), Martin Furuland (The Last Kingdom), Nikolai Nikolaeff (Daredevil), Woody Norman (C’mon C’mon), and the legendary Javier Botet (It) as Dracula.
The official description reads:
“The Last Voyage of the Demeter tells the terrifying story of the merchant ship Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo — fifty unmarked wooden crates — from Carpathia to London. Strange events befall the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each nice by a merciless presence onboard the ship. When the Demeter finally arrives off the shores of England, it is a charred, derelict wreck. There is no trace of the crew.”
