20th Century Studios released the final trailer for their upcoming sci-fi action thriller, The Creator. The trailer will debut exclusively in IMAX theaters on September 22, 2023, ahead of the film’s theater and IMAX release on September 29, 2023.
The synopsis reads:
“In a future where humanity is at war with artificial intelligence, Joshua, a former special forces agent, is tasked with locating and eliminating the Creator – a mysterious person responsible for creating advanced AI technology. The Creator has developed a weapon that could end the war and wipe out humanity. To achieve his mission, Joshua leads a team of highly trained operatives behind enemy lines, only to discover that the supposed weapon is, in fact, an AI that looks like a young child.“
The Creator is directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One) and written by Edwards and Chris Weitz. The film stars John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, newcomer Madeleine Yuna Voyles, and Allison Janney.
