‘Billy The Kid’ Season 2 Trailer: Tensions Rise Between Rival Factions

MGM+ has released the season 2 trailer and poster for Billy The Kid.

Created, written and executive produced by Michael Hirst, Billy The Kid is inspired by one of America’s most infamous outlaws. In season 2, Billy (Tom Blyth) and his allies go head to head with one of his oldest friends, Jesse Evans (Daniel Webber) and the corrupt powers of the Santa Fe Ring. “When shots are fired, the conflict erupts into the bloody Lincoln County War. Amidst the fighting, Billy will struggle to hang onto his soul — and to the love of his life,” the synopsis for season 2 reads.

Returning October 15 on MGM+, the season appears to be just as epic as last season as tensions rise between rival outlaw factions and the political machine in the trailer for season 2. “The other side has the advantage,” Billy says in the trailer. “You’re farmers — Jesse Evans and his gang are all practiced killers.”

Billy the Kid is internationally distributed by Amazon MGM Studios Distribution. Billy the Kid premieres on MGM+ October 15 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Part One airs four episodes this fall with Part Two premiering sometime in 2024.
