The end is nigh for Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin). The show’s final arc has been stretched out over a release schedule that has spanned several years, leaving fans on the edge of their seats for closure on the epic saga. Now, it’s finally been announced that “The Final Chapters: Special 2” will premiere in Japan on November 4.

Written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, the Attack on Titan manga series ran from 2009 to 2021, and its animated adaptation first premiered in 2013. The series follows the story of a boy named Eren Yaeger, who lives within the towering walls of a city that houses the last remnants of humanity from the terrifying man-eating Titans that roam the lands beyond.

A new teaser for the final part has been released as well.

To commemorate the tenth anniversary (and now completion) of the anime, “Attack on Titan Worldwide” will take place from November 5 through November 8. This special after party invites fans to an online cruise ship to celebrate with the cast and production team. Tickets are now available.

Following a 28-episode fourth season, the first hour-long special “The Final Chapters: Special 1” premiered earlier this year, taking us up to chapter 134 of the manga (and the English dub is now streaming on Crunchyroll as of this week). Five chapters of Attack on Titan remain to be adapted, which will bring this story to its explosive, emotional close on November 4.
