A villain reveal trailer has been released for Vladimir Makarov, now portrayed by actor Julian Kostov, in the upcoming release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The game is developed by Sledgehammer Games and Activision’s network of other internal Call of Duty developers.
Modern Warfare III is the third game in the Modern Warfare reboot subseries and will feature a different story than the 2011, given the 2022 version of Modern Warfare II has a different ending with General Shepherd still alive at the end. This is the first time two titles under the same Call of Duty subseries have released in consecutive years.
More announcements are expected in coming weeks, as there will also be a reveal event in Warzone on August 17, as teased by a phone number featured in the teaser trailer released August 7.
