Activision has confirmed the Call of Duty game to release this year will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III from Sledgehammer Games.

While details on the game are currently scarce, additional announcements are expected in the coming weeks. The game will presumably be a direct sequel to 2022’s Modern Warfare II. Platforms for the next installment have yet to be announced, though it’s safe to assume the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X; with platforms like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One up in the air.

Fans can also text “READY” to a phone number that was shown in the teaser, +1-(202)-918-3022, for a brief exchange to build excitement. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be available November 10, 2023. Watch the announcement video below, and stay tuned with Nerds & Beyond for updates.
