Meet New Character From ‘Heartstopper’ Season 2 In These New Photos

With just over two weeks left before the second season of Netflix’s award winning adaptation of Alice Oseman’s graphic novel/webtoon Heartstopper hits our screens, the streamer is getting fans ready with brand new photos. While new photos as the new series grows closer are expected, these photos are extra exciting as they introduce some of the most anticipated new characters of the season including Truhman and Higgs faculty and students and more members of the Nelson family.

On the school side of things, the photos offer fans their first glimpses of Mr. Farouk (Nima Taleghani) – a faculty member and potential love interest for season 1 favorite Mr. Ajayi (Fisayo Akinade) – as well as new student characters including Truhman student James McEwan (Bradley Riches) and Elle’s new friends Felix (Ash Shelf), Naomi (Bel Priestley), and Sahar Zahid (Leila Khan).

Fans also get their first look at Nick Nelson’s family beyond his mother (Olivia Coleman), as season 2 introduces his brother David (Jack Barton) and his father Stephane Nelson (Thibault De Montalembert). The photos offer a glimpse into the family resemblance, although the show itself will take on a less pleasant side of the family relationships as neither is particularly accepting of Nick’s new relationship with Charlie.

The photos also include a look at some favorites from the first season including fellow student Imogen (Rhea Norwood), Charlie’s once paramour Ben (Sebastain Croft), and Charlie’s older sister Tori (Jenny Walser).

The thread of photos can be viewed on Netflix’s Twitter, linked below. After checking out these new photos, be sure to mark your calendar for August 3 so you don’t miss the premiere of Heartstopper season 2.
