8 New Cast Members Add to ‘Squid Game’ Season 2
Let the games begin.
Netflix’s popular Korean drama, Squid Game, has announced the addition of 8 new cast members for its upcoming second season. Deadline was the first to report on the announcement.
The new additions include Park Gyu-young (Sweet Home), Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim (Move to Heaven), Lee David (The Fortress and Svaha: The Sixth Finger), Lee Jin-uk (Miss Granny and Sweet Home), Choi Seung-hyun (Tazza: The Hidden Card and Commitment), Roh Jae-won (Missing Yoon and Ditto), and Won Ji-an (D.P.).
The new cast members will also join the previously announced cast, including Lee Byung-hun, who will reprise his role as Front Man, and Wi Ha-jun, who will return as police detective Jun-ho. Additionally, Gong Yoo will also be returning to the show.
The Korean drama from Netflix follows a group of adults facing high-stakes financial problems. When they accept an invitation to participate in a series of children’s games for a tempting cash prize, they quickly learn that playing comes at a deadly price.
