It’s unfortunate news for fans of the DC Comics-inspired show Gotham Knights, as The CW has canceled the series before the season finale airing on June 27. TVLine was the first to report on the decision.

The series revolves around Turner Hayes (Oscar Morgan), the adopted son of Bruce Wayne, after Bruce’s murder. Turner joins forces with the children of Batman’s foes to become the Gotham Knights, a new group of protectors for the increasingly dangerous Gotham. Their mission includes discovering who killed Batman.

The show first premiered on The CW on March 14, 2023, and has been averaging 719,000 viewers and currently ranks 8 in total audience out of the 14 shows the network has aired this season.

The Bat Brats, a dedicated fan group of the show, are working to prevent its cancellation. They have been using the hashtag #RenewalGothamKnights on social media, and, likely, #SaveGothamKnights will also gain popularity soon.

Gotham Knights stars Oscar Morgan as Turner Hayes, Navia Robinson as Carrie Kelley, Fallon Smythe as Harper Row, Tyler DiChiara as Cullen Row, Olivia Rose Keegan as Duela, and Supernatural‘s Misha Collins as Harvey Dent/Two-Face. The series airs on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT and will return with its second to last episode on Tuesday, June 20.
