Jack Quaid is set to star in a sci-fi thriller from the team behind last year’s hit horror film, Barbarian.

Companion is produced by Barbarian writer and director Zach Cregger, with Drew Hancock penning the script for the new film and making his directorial debut. Cregger is producing alongside Raphael Margules and J.D. Lifshitz of BoulderLight Pictures and Roy Lee of Vertigo, with BoulderLight’s Tracy Rosenblum and Vertigo’s Andrew Childs serving as executive producers.

Cregger initially intended to be behind Companion but recently shifted focus to his own script, Weapons, which recently added Pedro Pascal to star.

The plot for Companion is being kept under wraps as of now. Stay tuned with Nerds & Beyond for updates.

Hasn't stopped crying about Arthur Morgan since 2018 with no plans to stop anytime soon and is convinced she could survive more than five nights at Freddy's. At her core, she's really just an aspiring vampire juice box. Based in Denver, CO.
