Paramount Pictures live-action adaption of popular Hasbro board game Dungeons & Dragons is set to debut on Paramount+ beginning May 16 in the United States.
Opening #1 at the domestic box office, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves has grossed over $205.72 million worldwide. The film currently holds a 91% Rotten Tomatoes Certified Fresh critics’ score and a 93% audience score.
The film follows a Bard, played by Chris Pine, and a band of unlikely adventurers who undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. The cast also includes Michelle Rodriguez as a Barbarian, Regé-Jean Page as a Paladin, Justice Smith as a Sorcerer, Sophia Lillis as Doric, a Druid, and Hugh Grant as the main villain Forge Fletcher.
