Apple TV+ Releases Teaser for Season 2 of ‘Foundation’

Apple TV+ dropped a teaser trailer for season 2 of its hit fantasy show Foundation.

Season 2 picks up after a century time jump during a time when the galaxy is in chaos and a fate of a whole empire rests on the shoulders of four individuals .The official description of this season reads:

“Tension is mounting as the Cleons unravel, a vengeful queen plots to destroy Empire from within, and Hari, Gaal, and Salvor discover a colony of Mentalics with psionic abilities that threaten to alter psychohistory itself. The Foundation has entered its religious phase, promulgating the Church of Seldon throughout the Outer Reach and inciting the Second Crisis: war with Empire. The monumental adaptation of “Foundation” chronicles the stories of four crucial individuals transcending space and time as they overcome deadly crises, shifting loyalties, and complicated relationships that will ultimately determine the fate of humanity.”

Lee Pace and Jared Harris return for season 2 of the series, along with Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, and Terrence Mann. Also joining the series this season are Isabella Laughland, Kulvinder Ghir, Ella-Rae Smith, Holt McCallany, Rachel House, Nimrat Kaur, Ben Daniels, and Dimitri Leonidas. Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes that will be released weekly on Fridays.
