Fans of the popular franchise Dune will not have to wait much longer to return to Arrakis, and in the meantime, the official trailer for Dune: Part 2 has arrived.
Dune follows the adventures of Paul Atreides as he navigates the political and religious landscape of Arrakis while fighting to stay ahead of the people who want to see him dead. Dune: Part 2 starts where the first film left off, following Paul and his mother, Lady Jessica, encountering the mysterious group the Fremen and having to work with this group to secure the survival of the house of Atreides.
Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, David Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Javier Bardem, and Charlotte Rampling return with Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Christopher Walken, Tim Blake Nelson, and Léa Seydoux now joining the franchise. The film is again directed by Denis Villeneuve with a screenplay co-written with Jon Spaihts, based on Frank Herbert’s novel.
