Switchfoot Announces Special ‘Beautiful Letdown’ 20th Anniversary Tour

Share:

It’s hard to believe that Switchfoot’s iconic album The Beautiful Letdown came out 20 years ago.

This album changed everything for the indie-rock band. Their 4th studio album, The Beautiful Letdown, almost never came out as the band was dropped by their label just before the album’s release. However, not only did the album get released, but it was a smash hit for the band. The record went triple-platinum and included chart-topping hits like “Meant To Live” and “Dare You To Move.”

So naturally, the band wanted to celebrate the songs and album that, “took us all over the globe & introduced us to so many of you.” What better to celebrate than their re-recorded version of the album, due out May 5, followed by a special, one-of-a-kind tour dedicated to the album?

This year for the first time ever Switchfoot is hitting the road to play the entirety of The Beautiful Letdown from front to back!

General tickets go on sale Friday, April 28 at 12 p.m., but fans can check out the band’s Twitter to get access to a special pre-sale code to pick up tickets as early as 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26. You can grab your tickets directly from the band’s website, and even add VIP packages while you’re there.
