Momentus Announces Virtual Baking Class with Samba Schutte

Momentus has announced another incredible virtual event, this time a baking class with Our Flag Means Death actor Samba Schutte!

Join the talented Samba Schutte from the breakout series on HBO Max, Our Flag Means Death, for a fun class in baking and wearing fine things well with a great cause. Together, we’ll bake an OFMD cast-favorite recipe, no matter what your baking experience, and chat about everything from the show to creativity to the difference between a snail fork and a spatula! And just in time for Mother’s Day in the United States!

The event will take place on May 13 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET.

The experience involves two types of tickets; general admission, and front row.

  • General Admission: You can participate in our event LIVE with event chat, shout-outs, and access to viewable video you can rewatch after the Momentus event!
  • Front-Row: Join the event as a special guest! Make sure you are camera-ready because you will visible to our Guest Host and audience during the Momentus event. You may be called upon during the show…

You can also do a ticket-only option, or you have the option to add on a meet and greet.

Exclusive post-event Meet & Greets will be offered on a limited basis. These are generally a 20-minute roundtable with up to 15 participants.

These will sell out fast, so purchase this option as soon as possible.

Samba’s tickets start at $25 for general admission and $45 for front row. Meet and Greets are an additional cost.

A portion of each ticket supports Every Mother Counts, a non-profit organization working tirelessly to improve maternal health worldwide. Their mission is to make pregnancy and childbirth safe, equitable, and respectful for every mother, everywhere. Since 2010, they have invested more than $24 million through over 100 grants that support proven solutions in 16 countries.

Purchase your tickets here!

Stands is also offering a bundle and some merch with the event. You can purchase an “Our Flag Means Chef” apron and a ticket for the event for $40. If you just want the apron, you can purchase it for $29, here. There are also some cool pins to check out, here.
