‘The Mandalorian’: The Journey Continues in Season 3 Official Trailer

2 Min Read

The wait is nearly over — the highly anticipated third season of The Mandalorian is almost here! Ahead of the upcoming premiere, audiences have finally been given another look at what’s in store for Mando and his comrades with a new trailer, following the initial teaser released last September.

Starring Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, The Mandalorian follows the journey of a bounty hunter as he faces enemies and rallies allies while making his way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.

While season 2 came to an end back in December 2020, the last time audiences saw the Mandalorian was in the back half of The Book of Boba Fett, starting with the Mando-centric episode “The Return of the Mandalorian.”

The season 3 synopsis is as follows:

“The journeys of the Mandalorian through the ‘Star Wars’ galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”

An official poster was released earlier today as well.

The series also stars Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito.

The third season of The Mandalorian is set to premiere on March 1. In the meantime, seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming exclusively on Disney+. For a refresher on the second season, check out our episodic recaps!
