Angela Bassett To Appear on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ on January 18

Angela Bassett is already having a busy year, having snagged a Golden Globe for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Next month, she will receive the Montecito Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Now she’s going to appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden!

Bassett reprises her role as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which sees the people of Wakanda fighting to save their nation from a threat following the death of their King T’Challa. The movie is set to stream on Disney+ beginning February 1.

Currently on hiatus, 9-1-1 is in its sixth season on FOX and has maintained its status as the #1 series on the network. Bassett has portrayed LAPD Sergeant Athena Grant Nash since the pilot. A midseason premiere date has yet to be announced.
