‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ Gets New Season 4 Premiere Date, ‘The Resident’ Season 6 Finale Split Over Two Weeks

Fans of two of Fox’s top-rated dramas will have to do some rescheduling. The season 6 finale of medical drama The Resident will now air in two parts; the first hour on Tuesday, January 10, and the second on Tuesday, January 17. The season 4 premiere of the first responder series 9-1-1: Lone Star has been pushed back a week.

According to TVLine, The Resident‘s season finale was initially planned as a two-hour finale, but Fox has now opted to split the episodes.

9-1-1: Lone Star‘s fourth season will now be premiering on Tuesday, January 24, instead of a week prior on January 17, due to The Resident‘s split finale. The network did previously release photos for the premiere episode as well as a trailer, both of which preview an emergency at a carnival and a storm brewing.

New episodes of The Resident air on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST. Season 4 of 9-1-1: Lone Star will premiere on its new night, Tuesday, January 24 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox. Check out the rest of our 9-1-1: Lone Star coverage here.
