A new nighttime spectacular is coming to Disneyland as part of the upcoming Disney100 celebrations at the Disneyland Resort, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company. New details about the nighttime spectacular, “Wondrous Journeys,” have been released by Disney Parks Blog.

The show will take you “on an adventure filled with artistry, music, storytelling, and heart as we celebrate the dreamers at Disney Animation who have shared their imagination and talents with the world for one hundred years.” The new show will feature a new original song, “It’s Wondrous,” and will include nods to every film released by the studio over the past century. It will include music, characters, and special moments from fan-favorite movies, including Encanto, Hercules, The Princess and the Frog, Peter Pan, Frozen, Treasure Planet, Big Hero 6, and Moana.

It will showcase spectacular fireworks, special lighting effects, and projections that will light up Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, the façade of It’s a Small World, and the Rivers of America. The projections will turn your surroundings into an artist’s canvas as beloved Disney characters are brought to life around you, culminating in Baymax soaring above Sleeping Beauty Castle.

“Wondrous Journeys” will be debuting at Disneyland Park on January 27, 2023. We can’t wait to check out this new addition to the park’s evening entertainment. For more information, head over to Disney Parks Blog.
