‘Saw 10’ Adds Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, and More to Cast

Lionsgate has announced that four new players have entered Jigsaw’s game for the tenth Saw installment. Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Joshua Okamoto, and Octavio Hinojosa are the latest additions in currently unknown roles. The news follows shortly after Steven Brand, Michael Beach, and Synnøve Macody Lund. The crew will star alongside returning franchise members Tobin Bell (John Kramer) and Shawnee Smith (Amanda Young).

Plot details for Saw 10 are still being held under wraps, but Lionsgate has assured it will contain its fair share of twisted traps as well as follow a new mystery. While we don’t yet know if Saw 10 will pick up from storylines from the original franchise or the latest Spiral, Bell and Smith’s returns may potentially set up some sort of origin story for another Jigsaw admirer.

Kevin Greutert also returns to the franchise to direct Saw 10. He previously worked as an editor for the first five Saw movies and Jigsaw, directed Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter, and executive produced Spiral.

Saw 10 premieres in theaters on October 27, 2023.
