‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’ Gameplay Trailer Unveiled at the The Game Awards

The highly anticipated sequel to Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts, and Lucasfilm Games’ award winning Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has unveiled new key art and an official gameplay trailer at The Game Awards.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes place five years after the events of its 2019 predecessor. Cal Kestis continues to evade the Empire’s constant pursuit, feeling the pressure of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy. Alongside his fan-favorite droid BD-1, Cal will have to evolve by learning new skills and growing his connection with the Force, all while allying himself with a variety of unique characters throughout his journey.

The new key art and screenshots from the game, with a much more weathered version of the hero, can be seen below:

The game is available to pre-order for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. Pre-ordering the standard edition features an Obi-Wan Kenobi inspired character pack:

  • “Hermit” Cosmetic
  • “Hermit” Lightsaber Set
  • “Combustion” Blaster Set

Pre-ordering the deluxe edition features Star Wars: A New Hope Han Solo and Luke Skywalker inspired character packs:

  • The “Galactic Hero” set includes:
    • “Scoundrel” Cosmetic
    • “Rugged” BD-1 Cosmetic
    • “DL-44” Blaster Set
  • The “New Hero” set includes:
    • “Rebel Hero” Cosmetic
    • “BD-Astro” BD-1 Cosmetic
    • “Rebel Hero” Lightsaber Set
  • In addition to the Obi-Wan Kenobi inspired set.

2023 is shaping up to be a great year for fans of Cal Kestis. In addition to the game release, two new books are also hitting shelves that will feature Cal, one of which being a dive into the making of the sequel, and the other an original story. Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars will follow Cal and the Mantis crew on an adventure set between the two games and releases March 07, 2023.
