‘The Walking Dead’ Daryl Dixon Spin-off Casts Clémence Poésy & Adam Nagaitis

AMC’s Daryl Dixon offshoot of The Walking Dead is moving ahead with Adam Nagaitis and Clémence Poésy set to star opposite Norman Reedus.

Poésy is set to play Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group, who joins Daryl across France, finding herself confronting her dark past in Paris. Nagaitis plays Quinn, a displaced Brit who has risen to power in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketeer and the owner of a sexy underground nightclub. 

The series was originally set to center around both Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl. McBride exited in early April, citing she was unable to relocate due to the filming time frame. The spin-off was first announced in September 2020 on the heels of the flagship series’ final season announcement. It is currently slated to premiere in 2023.
