First Team Advances to Finals of AEW Trios Tournament

The Elite, comprised of Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, competed against United Empire (Will Ospreay and Aussie Open) for a spot in the AEW Trios Tournament Finals on AEW Dynamite.

The highly anticipated matchup between Ospreay and Omega first kicked off on last week’s Dynamite when Omega and Ospreay cut a seething promo on one another, digging deep in their shots. The rivalry between the two dates back to Omega’s time in New Japan but things really got heated when they began an online feud that has extended well over a year.

Ultimately, The Elite walked out of the match as the victors and will wrestle against the winner of the Rampage semi-final, Dark Order or Best Friends, at All Out on September 4 in Chicago.
