After AEW Dynamite went off the air, Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay had a war of words. Aussie Open and Will Ospreay, The United Empire, won their quarter-final match between Death Triangle to advance in the AEW Trios Title tournament.
As they celebrated in the ring, Omega, the Young Bucks, and Don Callis descended toward the ring and Omega gave the mic to Ospreay who made disparaging comments about Omega’s physique and career, saying he did everything Omega has in much less time.
Omega grabbed hold of the mic and immediately discredited Ospreay’s accomplishments by stating he had done it in front of far larger crowds.
Since we’re going to play a little hardball and since there is absolutely no way anyone is going to see or hear any of this. You wanna talk about doing everything I’ve done except doing more and sooner. That could be true except the only difference is, I did it in front of full, sold-out crowds and you did a G1 Final in front of what, 3,000 people?
