‘Andor’: Official Clip Released Ahead of Series Premiere

Less than a month remains until Lucasfilm’s next live-action series, Andor, begins streaming on Disney+. Ahead of the show’s arrival on the streaming platform, an official clip has been released.

Andor will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

Andor stars Diego Luna, Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Fiona Shaw, and Faye Marsay.

The series is created by Tony Gilroy and executive produced by Gilroy, Luna, Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, and Michelle Rejwan.

The first three episodes of Andor will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on September 21, with subsequent episodes of the 12-part first season premiering weekly on Wednesdays thereafter.

Ahead of the premiere, fans can brush up on Cassian Andor’s on-screen introduction to the Star Wars universe with the 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is returning to select IMAX theaters in the United States and Canada for one week beginning on August 26. Exclusive footage from Andor will premiere during the showings.
