‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Returning to IMAX Theaters Ahead of ‘Andor’ Premiere
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is returning to IMAX theaters for one week ahead of the premiere of Andor on Disney+ beginning August 26. The re-release will also feature an exclusive sneak peek at the series.

Rogue One follows an unlikely group of heroes as they band together to steal the plans to the Death Star and get them to the Rebel Alliance. It was directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen, and Forest Whitaker.
Andor premieres on September 21 with its first three episodes exclusively on Disney+ for a 12-episode first season with a second already in the works. Season 1 will take place five years prior to the events of Rogue One with the second season leading directly into the events of the film. Season 2 is set to begin filming later this year.

Diego Luna returns to his role of Cassian Andor with Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Fiona Shaw, and Faye Marsay joining the cast.
