Arguably the biggest event of the weekend is underway at San Diego Comic-Con with Marvel Studios stepping into Hall H to discuss the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Not only did Guardians of the Galaxy get a kick-ass new logo for their upcoming third installment, but director James Gunn also took to the stage with new and returning cast members to showcase a teaser for the film and confirm some additional details.

First, let’s start by getting this out of the way — we will see baby Rocket in the film.

Some cast members that were previously announced in unknown roles revealed the roles they would showcase in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, such as Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary and Maria Bakalova as Cosmo (yes, the dog astronaut).

Stay tuned with Nerds & Beyond for more updates.
