Netflix Cancels ‘Space Force’ After Two Seasons

No more boots on the moon. Netflix has announced that their original series Space Force has been cancelled after two seasons. The Steve Carell led series followed General Mark R. Naird (Carell), who gets tasked with running the sixth branch of the military — Space Force. His goal: to get boots on the moon by 2024.

Season 2 saw the team facing new administration, and with it, a new threat: they only have a few months to prove themselves or the branch would be dissolved. Meanwhile, the team faced various personal obstacles that added to the pressure.

Along with Carell, Space Force starred John Malkovich, Tawny Newsome, Jimmy O. Yang, Diana Silvers, Ben Schwartz, Lisa Kudrow, and Don Lake. It was created by Carell and Greg Daniels.

Stream Space Force now on Netflix.
