Summer is nearly here and Prime Video is making the promise of summer a bit sweeter this year, as The Summer I Turned Pretty is officially coming in June.

The streamer’s new series, based on Jenny Han’s bestselling book of the same title, will premiere in less than two months on June 17. So get ready to experience the highs and lows of first love, first heartbreak, and everything else that comes with growing up as we follow Belly (Lola Tung) through the summer she turns pretty.

Fans of the book series should be excited for the show, as Han is serving as co-showrunner and she wrote the pilot episode. So they can rest easy knowing that Belly’s story about turning pretty and finding herself in a love triangle with brothers Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) is in good hands.
