Netflix Renews ‘Big Mouth’ and Spin-Off ‘Human Resources’

Netflix has announced that its original adult animated comedies Big Mouth and Human Resources will both return for additional seasons! Big Mouth has been renewed for a seventh season ahead of its season 6 premiere later this year (date to be announced). Meanwhile, its spin-off Human Resources has received a second season.

Big Mouth follows a group of young teens as they enter and navigate the horrors and wonders of puberty with the help of their Hormone Monsters. Throughout the show’s run thus far, the kids have faced the beginnings of puberty, familial struggles, mental health struggles, love, hate, and everything in between. The show was created by Nick Kroll, Jennifer Flackett, Mark Levin, and Andrew Goldberg. Kroll, John Mulaney, Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Ayo Edebiri, and Jessi Klein will return for season 7.

Human Resources is a Big Mouth spin-off that focuses on the lives of the creatures. It sees the return of Hormone Monsters, Shame Wizards, Love Bugs, and more while introducing a slew of brand new ones. The show follows the creatures as they help various new clients and deal with workplace and personal challenges. It was created by Kelly Galuska, Andrew Goldberg, Nick Kroll, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett. Kroll, Maya Rudolph, Aidy Bryant, Randall Park, Keke Palmer, Brandon Kyle Goodman, and David Thewlis will return for season 2.
