Last September filming wrapped for Searchlight Pictures’ Not Okay starring Dylan O’Brien and Zoey Deutch. Now, Hulu has given the movie an official release!
Releasing August 5 on Hulu, Not Okay follows a misguided woman desperate for friends and fame. In order to gain a following on her social media platforms, she fakes a trip to Paris. However, the trip doesn’t go as planned. Outside of her warped reality, something very real happens that gives her the attention she wanted.
Deutch and O’Brien’s costars include Embeth Davidtz, Nadia Alexander, Tia Dionne Hodge, Karan Soni Mia Isaac, and Negin Farsad. The satirical comedy is written and directed by Quinn Shephard (Midnight Sun).
