Jessica Chastain Wins SAG Award For ‘The Eyes of Tammy Faye’

Share:

Jessica Chastain has won her first Best Actress SAG Award for her amazing portrayal and transformation as Tammy Faye. The Eyes of Tammy Faye is a dramedy that shows the true story of Tammy Faye Bakker and her husband Jim, played by Andrew Garfield. The film follows the rise and crumble of Tammy and Jim’s world’s largest religious broadcasting network and theme park.

The SAG Awards honor the best achievements in film and television performances for the previous year. Many actors hold a SAG Award in the highest honor because it is voted upon by their fellow actors. This will be Chastain’s fourth SAG nomination. With an Oscar, Critic’s Choice, Golden Globe, and Satellite Award nomination, Hollywood has definitely taken notice of Chastain’s hard work.

The Eyes of Tammy Faye can be currently found on HBO Max streaming service. Follow Nerds & Beyond to stay up to date!
