This June, fans of The Mandalorian will have the chance to relive the show’s first season in an eight-issue, episode-by-episode comic adaptation published by Marvel Comics. StarWars.com shared this exciting news today, confirming that the upcoming series will be written by Rodney Barnes and illustrated by Georges Jeanty.
Each installment is set to be accompanied by several variant covers. The main cover for the first issue has already been revealed, which features artwork by Adi Granov (R.I.P. Razor Crest).

The first season of The Mandalorian, which is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, introduces a brand-new character to the Star Wars universe — Din Djarin (portrayed by Pedro Pascal). Audiences follow the travails of the mysterious and skilled bounty hunter as he traverses the outer reaches of the galaxy, making new allies and enemies along the way. The show has also become synonymous with Din’s bounty-turned-sidekick, Grogu, a tiny green creature that initially earned the fan moniker “Baby Yoda” before his real name was revealed in the second season.
Seasons 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian are now streaming exclusively on Disney+, along with Din Djarin’s latest appearance in the series The Book of Boba Fett. A third season of The Mandalorian is on the way, but a release date has not yet been announced.
