The Marvel universe continues to grow as Disney+ adds the new series Ironheart to its ranks. Joining this exciting new show is the talented Lyric Ross! Viewers are likely to recognize Ross for her work on the hit show, This Is Us.
Ironheart is based on the comic book character of the same name. Viewers will follow the young Riri Williams, a very smart college student at MIT. Riri figures out a way to reverse engineer the technology used in Iron Man’s suit to make one of her own. Soon she joins the life of a superhero. Time will tell if the show plans to follow the storyline of the comics, not much information has been released at this time.
Lyric Ross will be joining Dominique Thorne, who will be playing Riri Williams. Also in the cast is Anthony Ramos, best know from his work in Hamilton. In typical Marvel fashion many character details are being kept secret. We do know that talented television writer Chinaka Hodge will be taking the position of head writer.
